Heads up: copycats of Living the Grid have popped up. Here is the real URL.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share something that has happened over the past few days. A couple of websites have popped up that are direct copies of Living the Grid. Same code, same design, same logo, just renamed, and in some cases with ads slapped on top. The two I have spotted so far are tomodachilifegrid.com and livingthegrid.com. There may be more by the time you read this. I have already filed DMCA copyright notices with their hosting provider and their domain registrar, and I am hopeful both sites will be taken down soon. The good news is they did a pretty poor job of hiding it. My own developer comments are still sitting inside their CSS files, including notes that reference bug reports some of you sent me directly. So the evidence is solid. I am not going to lie, I am a bit gutted. I built Living the Grid in my spare time, kept it free, no ads, runs entirely in your browser. Watching someone copy paste the whole thing overnight to slap ads on it stings a bit. But I guess it is part of the game when a project gets some traction. Please don't give them traffic, don't trust their ads, and feel free to share this post so other folks don't get duped either.
