Incident in Sanjaynagar

The person in the picture is a petrol pump operator in an Indian oil pump near Sanjay nagar . Last night , after filling in the petrol I attempted to make a UPI payment of Rs 3000 via PhonePe . The money got debited but got stuck and didn’t credit to theirs . The transaction was stuck in a processing state. I waited for some time , the operator insisted that I make the payment again on another QR and assured in case the first payment goes through he would send me my money back . I was hesitant at first , but as there was no better option available I trusted the operator and went ahead with it . To be safe , I took this picture and noted his number just in case i run into some issue with the refund later . 2 hours later , I get a call from him saying that he received the money via the first payment and refunded that amount gracefully. People who are not doing so well financially but are honest and have high integrity impress me immensely . And that is the point of this post. God bless this man !
