Intermediate computer skills are apparently rare...
Applied for a job at a cannabis production facility, originally just as a packager. In the interview, they mentioned that it looked like I had "strong computer skills", and asked if I'd be willing to do labeling instead. Everything about the job sounds stupid easy, enter data into excel, and print it out on a label. Apparently knowing how to use excel is seen as a "strong" computer skill. Not only is this position way less physical labor, it also pays more, and I didn't even apply for it! I remember being praised at my last job for my "strong" computer skills. Something I realized is most people have 50% computer skill. I happen to have 53% computer skill, and that additional 3% is basically magic to the 50% folk.
